Meet The New Way To Engage Online
What is WebXR?
We view this platform as the bridge between virtual reality and Zoom we've all been dreaming of. An immersive, social platform that allows for spatial presence and spatial audio i.e. kind of like a video game where each user controls their own avatar and moves throughout the 3D space as they choose. Its ability to be accessed across devices, both regular PC or VR, and accessed through a web browser only requiring good internet - no additional apps or hardware - makes it extremely accessible. We can host up to 30 concurrent users in one virtual space. And it is very simple to use.
What Assets Can We Use in the Virtual Space?
There are very few limitations in terms of the media that can be imported or integrated; pictures, video, 360 pictures/video, gifs, live streams, and 3D assets etc.
Why WebXR?
In light of current social distancing restrictions, certain content delivery and social interactions can be very challenging to recreate via a website or video chat. We believe WebXR fills this void. Further, WebXR makes certain content and experiences exponentially more accessible, anyone on the planet with a good internet connection can access and interact. To date, we've worked on projects and events including a VR 101 exhibition, art shows, K-12 classroom, concert venue, mission trip, racial equity exhibition and more on the way.
